The RM Young Wind Monitor Model 05108 (Heavy duty) is a high-performance wind sensor engineered for demanding marine environments. Its wind speed is measured by a four-blade helicoid propeller, and it uses a transducer to generate a pulse signal without slip rings or electrical contacts. The wind direction sensor features a durable molded vane, with precision measured through a sealed potentiometer. Made from corrosion-resistant materials and equipped with ceramic bearings, the sensor is built to endure harsh marine conditions. It mounts on standard 1-inch pipes and includes signal conditioning circuits for voltage or current output.
