The Engine Control Console (ECC) is designed to remotely control and monitor essential equipment, providing critical functions to ensure safe and efficient vessel operation.
While its primary purpose is to manage the main and auxiliary engines, the ECC is equipped with additional features, such as telephone communication, remote alarm monitoring, crew alert systems for emergencies, and more—everything needed for smooth and secure navigation.
The ECC integrates its own Alarm, Monitoring, and Control System (AMS, AMCS).
Sensors throughout the vessel continuously send data on the main engine, generator, and auxiliary equipment status to the ECC, allowing crew to easily monitor this information on the console’s LCD display and adjust controls as necessary.
The LCD also offers full remote start/stop control of the main engine, generators, and auxiliary equipment, making operation straightforward and efficient for the crew.
