Entry & Sophisticated Models – HT700 Series 2.0 offers ‘Entry’ models with Push-To-Talk communications, while ‘Advanced’ models add features like Individual & Group Calling, Lone-Worker protection, and Text Messaging.

Environmental protection – IP68 (2 Meters for 4 hours) – The HT700 Series 2.0 is IP68-rated, making it fully dustproof and submersible up to 2 meters for 4 hours.

Keylock – Prevents accidental activation by allowing manual or automatic locking of keys and controls.

VOX hands free (with audio accessory) – The VOX feature lets users communicate hands-free, automatically transmitting when they speak. 

Scan/priority scan – Scans channels for availability, with priority scan checking a selected channel more frequently. 

Programmable channel monitor button – Temporarily disables channel protection to monitor all signals on your channel.

Talkaround – Enables direct communication with other radios outside repeater range.

SECURITY

Programmable scrambler (voice inversion) – Encrypts voice transmissions to prevent casual eavesdropping.

SAFETY 

Local Personal Attack Alarm  – Activates a loud siren on the radio to call for local assistance during an emergency.

Lone-Worker & Main-Down Alarms (advanced models only) – Lone-Worker and optional Man-Down alarms provide safety monitoring. If the user is unresponsive, the alarm sounds and notifies others in the area.
